Tilbury Chardonnay Bundle 2 x2023 & 1x 2024

2x Tilbury 2023 1x Tilbury 2024

Enjoy a special Tilbury bundle featuring two bottles of Tilbury Chardonnay 2023 and one bottle of the new-release Tilbury Chardonnay 2024. This trio offers a brilliant snapshot of Murdoch Hill Chardonnay across two standout vintages—2023 with its purity and drive, and 2024 bringing lifted aromatics and mineral finesse. A perfect way to explore the evolution of Tilbury, or to stock the cellar with a refined Adelaide Hills favourite.

Tilbury 2024 crafted from 100% Lenswood fruit, the 2024 Tilbury opens with lifted aromas of lime, lemon, white nectarine and a subtle hint of green apple. A gentle flinty reduction adds complexity while keeping the profile fresh and vibrant.

The palate is pure and finely structured, driven by citrus and white stone fruit. A mineral acid line provides length and clarity, supported by an elegant, pithy phenolic texture. Matured in 30% new oak, this wine shows finesse, balance and a long, focused finish.

James Suckling - 96 points
Mineral-driven with a restrained edge and a lovely core of fruit, giving aromas of sliced lemons, citrus blossoms, grapefruit and phosphorus, with a vivid crushed-stone edge. The palate is tightly wound, with a textural yet refined mouthfeel, striking acidity and a chalky feel. This is excellent, giving immediate pleasure and showing good aging potential. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

Tilbury 2023 With 80% fruit from Lenswood and 20% from Piccadilly. The Tilbury has tight and precise acidity, compact structure, and some bold length. It has scents of fresh lime, white flowers, with an oyster shell minerality followed by citrus flavours and a subtle chariness due to seeing 40% new French and Austrian oak. The style of fruit from Lenswood provides a beautiful contrast to the tight and linear nature of the fruit from Piccadilly.

95 Points Ned Goodwin MW Decanter
A crushed rock flintiness to oyster shell brininess, melding with verdant hints of mint and other garden herbs, smattered amid orchard fruits and citrus. Demur, youthful, tightly coiled and in need of time. Yet the acidity is juicy rather than hard. The finish, compelling…

95 Points, Halliday Wine Companion 2026
A very cool and wet vintage for the Hills would've brought with it many challenges, not that you'd sense it here. The wine saw full mlf to combat the austerity of acids, and while it is still extremely tight and coiled in its youth, this will relax with bottle-age into something remarkable. Citrus, both lemon and lime, with some grapefruit pith and curry leaf, a thread of salinity flush with white stone fruit and crushed rock. It's tantalising, electric and bound to reward patience.
